At Geneva Watch Days 2026, Bvlgari presents three creations with a single thread running through them: titanium — for the Roman Maison, far more than a material. “Titanium has never been simply a technical choice for Bvlgari,” says Jonathan Brinbaum, Managing Director of Bvlgari Watches. “Since 2014, it has become one of the Maison’s most distinctive creative languages.”
The headline act is a first in the history of the Octo Finissimo: never before has an independent watchmaker worked from the collection’s iconic movement as the foundation for his own vision. The Octo Finissimo Dual Time × Vianney Halter, designed jointly by Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani and the celebrated independent, takes the ultra-thin icon into retrofuture territory somewhere between the Victorian era and science fiction — Jules Verne meets precision engineering. Halter’s signature asserts itself through four opaline white dials, his characteristically shaped blue hands, a red arrow seconds hand and a rotor engraved with his signature, all within the Octo’s rigorous geometry. The 40.5 mm case comprises more than 50 components, houses the BVL 138 calibre enriched with modules developed for the collaboration, and is limited to 30 pieces — made to be collected.
Alongside it, the Octo Finissimo Dazzle borrows the fragmented geometric camouflage that carmakers use to disguise prototypes, laser-engraved in-house across every titanium surface of the 40 mm case, dial and integrated bracelet. Angles merge into pattern, planes intermingle, and the watch retreats into a paradoxical presence between revelation and concealment — only the bezel is spared, “because it captures the collection’s very essence,” says Buonamassa Stigliani.
Completing the trio, Bvlgari Titanio opens a new chapter for the Aluminium collection: a 40 mm GMT with 24-hour day/night display (calibre B192, 50-hour reserve) and a 41 mm Chronograph (calibre B381, 42-hour reserve), both in brushed grade 5 titanium with rubber, reinterpreting the line’s sport-chic codes in deep matte grey. Three expressions, one manifesto.
