“One day all watches will be cool.” That is the promise from Ritmo Mundo, the Milan-born, Los Angeles-based independent, as it unveils its Tourbillon sapphire pieces — the Pegasus and the Mar Tourbillon Extraordinaire — at the frontier where Italian design meets California confidence.

Each watch is built around a blue-accented, square-shaped skeleton movement housed in a mono sapphire crystal case, putting the entire mechanism on transparent display. An automatic winding system running on ball bearings delivers a 72-hour power reserve, while the clear silicone strap and see-through back complete the crystalline aesthetic. Water resistance is 3 ATM, with a case thickness of 11.5 mm.

Founded in Milan in 2002 and now based in Los Angeles, Ritmo Mundo has built its reputation on bold design and innovative materials, with appearances in major films, television and sports partnerships along the way. The sapphire tourbillon collection is priced at $14,900 and comes in five distinct versions — transparent elegance, engineered for impact.
