Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates its ‘Reverso Stories’ in Qatar

Jaeger-LeCoultre shone the spotlight on its most enduring icon with Reverso Stories, an immersive exhibition that landed in Doha’s Place Vendôme Mall from 18–30 October 2025. Charting nine decades of design evolution, cultural influence and mechanical ingenuity, the experience brought the Reverso’s Art Deco legacy into sharp contemporary focus.
A highlight was the latest ‘Made of Makers’ collaboration, this time with rising webcomic talent Olivecoat, who reinterpreted the Reverso through vibrant visual storytelling. Her archive-inspired webcomic traced the watch’s 1931 origins – from the polo fields of India to the ateliers of Le Sentier – through a modern, narrative-rich lens. Inside the boutique, a tightly curated selection of Reverso masterpieces, including rare archive models, high jewellery references and métiers d’art creations, were on display. Standouts included the Reverso Tribute Enamel Monet ‘The Doge’s Palace’, the poetic ‘Reverso One Precious Flowers’, and the ultra-exclusive Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 with its mesmerising Gyrotourbillon. Adding a sensorial twist, guests savoured chocolate creations by Mathieu Davoine, inspired by the Vallée de Joux. A refined cultural crossover that captured the spirit of La Grande Maison – past, present and what comes next.
