Making its mark as one of the Middle East’s foremost cultural institutions, L’École School of Jewellery Arts has once again revealed a captivating exhibition that gives a laser insight into a fascinating aspect of the world of jewellery. The Men’s Rings, Yves Gastou Collection exhibition demonstrates how men’s rings have evolved through time, both as symbols of power and expressions of personal style. Running until 26 April 2025, the unprecedented assemblage of men’s rings, which belonged to late French collector and antique art dealer Yves Gastou, tells a story that explores themes arranged in the exhibition as History, Gothic, Christian Mysticism, Vanitas and Eclecticism.
“We are thrilled to present the Men’s Rings, Yves Gastou Collection in Dubai, a city that perfectly balances tradition with modernity,” said Sophie Claudel, Director of L’ÉCOLE Middle East. “Additionally, we are excited to welcome students back to our school with an even wider array of courses, ensuring that the art of jewellery continues to inspire and educate.”
With the 700 rings on display ranging from Ancient Egyptian jewels and Victorian memento mori confections, to 17th century Venetian doge rings and 1970s biker pieces, there’s a whole world of men’s bling to be explored at this unique exhibition.
