A new international jewellery and watches show was added to Riyadh’s glittering calendar in November, with more than 60 high-end Maisons heading to the Kingdom for an event of epic proportions. Jewels of the World attracted established brands and independent designers from Italy, Hong Kong, the UK and the USA, as well as regional and homegrown artisans from Bahrain, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, many of whom were showing their wares for the first time — a boon for jewellery trendsetters. Set to become an annual event, it was a strong start from the inaugural edition of Jewels of the World, which was held at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences and proved to be a draw for lovers of high-end timepieces and jewellery alike.
