Two names with serious mileage — Girard-Perregaux, 235 years of haute horlogerie, and Williams, half a century on the Formula 1 grid — have formalised their partnership with a pair of Laureatos in the team’s electric blue.
The Laureato Williams Edition and Laureato Chronograph Williams Edition, both 42mm in steel, wear dials in blue Clous de Paris punctuated with racing-red accents and the Williams “W” above 12 o’clock; turn either over and the team’s logo appears again through the sapphire caseback. The three-hander runs on the in-house GP1800 with date; the chronograph carries the GP3300.

Priced at £12,800 and £16,500 respectively, deliveries begin 19 October — timed, conveniently, for the closing stretch of the F1 season and its Gulf finale weekends, where paddock wrists will be watched as closely as lap times.
“We have the same approach of being purists in our respective fields,” says Girard-Perregaux CEO Marc Michel-Amadry, and the pairing does feel less forced than most motorsport tie-ins: the Laureato’s octagonal bezel has always had something of the racetrack chicane about it. For Gulf collectors who have followed the Laureato’s quiet renaissance, this is the most characterful iteration yet.
