Some dials are made; this one fell to Earth. Bell & Ross has unveiled the BR-X5 Meteorite, an exceptional new interpretation of its contemporary high-end collection that pairs Swiss manufacture watchmaking with a dial cut from a genuine Muonionalusta meteorite — an iron fragment that travelled through space for millions of years before landing in Scandinavia.
The Maison describes the BR-X5 as an “Advanced Time Instrument”, and the Meteorite edition makes the case emphatically. The 41 mm steel case carries the collection’s signature multilayer sandwich architecture, while inside beats a COSC-certified chronometer manufacture movement delivering a 70-hour power reserve. It is a balance of technical precision, architectural design and what Bell & Ross calls cosmic heritage — engineering rigour on the outside, deep time at the centre.
Because no two sections of the Muonionalusta meteorite share the same Widmanstätten crystalline pattern, every dial is naturally unique. Limited to 250 pieces, each BR-X5 Meteorite is therefore quite literally one of a kind — a numbered edition where the numbering is almost beside the point.
